so lets back up for a moment and allow me to catch you up. we've been engaged for about 3 months now and we have gotten alot done!
We are very fortunate to have parents who are very willing to help as well as an amazing wedding planner! Randy is the greatest!
Kyle proposed on my birthday December 24th and after calling friends and family, we jumped into planning!

Not only do I have a notebook full of magazine pages, I also have a folder on my computer full of screen shots from blogs or pictures I've seen online. I've become a bit over organized with it since things are categorized into sub folders but oh well, I'm the BRIDE!
When I got back to Auburn, My sweet roommates and I went to dinner, while my amazing friends set up a surprise engagement party at our house. I unlocked our door and walked in to have everyone jump up and shout surprise. All of my bridesmaids were there as well as a bunch of my closest girlfriends!

Martin Luther King Weekend brought me my dress. My mom and I decided spur of the moment to go dress shopping in Atlanta, just to get our feet wet. It was the second dress I tried on, but when you know you know. We also picked out bridesmaids dresses that weekend. I drove back there with a few of my bridesmaids to try on dresses.
As you can see we are just checking things off the list
Registering was an adventure. Kyle and I discovered how many things one could possibly need for their new home. The gadget wall at BedBath&Beyond was daunting. Kyle's one contention for him coming along was that he could be in charge of the scanner the whole time, and he was a scanner dictator, I didn't get to scan anything. I did get to pick everything, but for some reason clicking a button is so much better!
We took engagement pictures with Chelsea Patricia, who is by far the most amazing photographer on this planet!

She took us to some amazing places in Atlanta and cranked out some awesome photos!
Kyle was a trooper, (he's not good with multiple photos being taken of him, weirdo!) After seeing how he acted during the photos after his sister's wedding I didn't have high hopes. That is part of the reason we are taking pictures before our wedding, I don't think I can stand to here him whine about how hungry he is.
The kid is always hungry
We've been pretty much a team when it comes to planning, but when I went home for spring break I found myself having to make some decisions without Kyle! I selected our fine china and our invitations. Fine china was a bit daunting cause its the stuff you are going to use for fooooooorrrrrrevvvvvver! I picked some amazing pieces and took a picture on my phone to send to kyle.
I THOUGHT CELL PHONES HAD GOTTEN BETTER AT TAKING PICTURES?
He called me in a panic asking why I had registered us for pink china! I had to calm him down fast reassuring him that I did not select pink china for him to eat his meals off of! How could he think I would pick pink?!
But in his defense the picture does make the plates look pink
Now we are tackling our guest list and trying to get our parent's lists so we can send out our AMMMMAAAZZZING save the date cards!
So now that I've caught you up, I will end this post. (you're welcome)
